Olivia Schmidt

Olivia Schmidt is a Calgary-born goaltender and ELEV8 Elite Senior alum who has turned her development in the ELEV8 system into an NCAA opportunity. A St. Mary’s High School student-athlete from Calgary, Alberta, she played her club field lacrosse with ELEV8 and established herself as a high-level goalkeeper in Western Canada. ELEV8 recognized her as a senior goaltender and celebrated her commitment when she signed her National Letter of Intent to play NCAA Division II lacrosse at Coker University in Hartsville, South Carolina.

At Coker, Olivia continues to build her collegiate résumé in the cage. Early in her career she earned the win in Coker’s 13–3 victory over Barton, making nine saves and backstopping the Cobras to a road result, and her ongoing development is reflected in her growing stat line at the NCAA level.

Born and raised in Calgary, Olivia developed her game in the ELEV8 system before heading south to compete in the NCAA, carrying with her the technical foundation, resilience, and professionalism that ELEV8 demands of its goalies. As an ELEV8 alum, she represents a clear pathway for Calgary goalies who aspire to play in the NCAA: start in Calgary, train in the ELEV8 environment, and take that experience to the collegiate stage.
